Description
Bridge an M16×1 left-hand muzzle (common on many European .45 hosts) to .578-28 right-hand (common U.S. .45 ACP standard). Precision 17-4 H1150 stainless, polished silver finish. Ready for comps and suppressors where legal.
This Gen 2 adapter converts barrels threaded M16×1 LH—used on many European-spec .45 caliber pistols and carbines—to the U.S. .578-28 RH standard used by most .45 ACP muzzle devices and suppressor pistons. No rethreading required. Precision-machined from 17-4 H1150 stainless for strength and concentricity, it seats square to the shoulder for a secure, repeatable mount. Add your preferred compensator, brake, or a suppressor with a .578-28 piston (where legal and properly registered).
Gen 2 improvements include tighter concentricity control, refined shoulder geometry, and a polished silver finish on 17-4 stainless for durable, corrosion-resistant performance.
Key features
• Converts M16×1 LH (metric, left-hand; common on many .45 platforms) to .578-28 RH (SAE, right-hand; common .45 ACP standard)
• Concentric Gen 2 geometry for alignment and repeatability
• 17-4 H1150 stainless steel body for high strength and heat/corrosion resistance
• Polished silver finish on stainless—clean look, easy maintenance
• Square shoulder interface; suppressor-ready when properly aligned
• Reversible, non-permanent solution—no barrel machining required
Compatibility
• Barrel/muzzle input: M16×1 LH threaded muzzle (verify your model/spec)
• Device/output: .578-28 RH external threads (typical .45 ACP comps and suppressor pistons)
• Caliber intent: .45 ACP class; always verify device bore for your caliber
Notes: Confirm your barrel is M16×1 left-hand (not M16×1 RH, M13.5×1, M14×1, 1/2×28, etc.). Many tilting-barrel pistols require a recoil booster (Nielsen device) for suppressor use. Minimal factory shoulders on pistol barrels demand careful seating for best alignment.
Materials and finish
Body: 17-4 H1150 stainless steel
Finish: Polished silver (stainless)
Usage notes
• Barrel side is left-hand: turn counter-clockwise to tighten onto the M16×1 LH barrel.
• Device side is right-hand .578-28.
• Do not use a crush washer between barrel and adapter; the adapter should seat flat on the barrel shoulder/face.
• Time your muzzle device on the .578-28 side using shims if required.
• For suppressors, verify alignment with a caliber-correct rod before live fire. Tilting-barrel pistols typically require a booster; fixed-barrel hosts use the manufacturer’s recommended spacer.
