Description

Adapt an M24×1.5 right-hand muzzle (common on many AK-pattern front sight bases) to 5/8-24. Precision 17-4 H1150 stainless Gen 2 adapter with black nitride finish—ready for brakes, comps, and suppressors where legal.

This Gen 2 adapter bridges M24×1.5 RH muzzle threads—widely used on AK-pattern rifles with 24 mm front sight bases (e.g., many 5.45×39 AK-74/AK-100 series and some 7.62/.308 variants)—to 5/8-24, the common U.S. .30-caliber thread standard (.308/7.62, 300 BLK, etc.). No rethreading required. Precision-machined from 17-4 H1150 stainless for strength and concentricity, it seats square for a secure, repeatable mount. Add your preferred muzzle brake, compensator, flash device, or a suppressor with a 5/8-24 mount (where legal and properly registered).
Gen 2 upgrades include tighter concentricity control, refined shoulder geometry, and a durable black nitride finish for superior wear and corrosion resistance.

Key features
• Converts M24×1.5 RH to 5/8-24 RH external threads
• Concentric Gen 2 geometry for alignment and repeatability
• 17-4 H1150 stainless steel body for high strength and heat resistance
• Black nitride (QPQ) hard finish—wear and corrosion resistant
• Square, positive shoulder interface; suppressor-ready when properly aligned
• Reversible, non-permanent solution—no barrel machining required

Compatibility
• Barrel/muzzle input: M24×1.5 RH threaded muzzle (typical AK-pattern 24 mm FSB/threaded block; verify your model/spec)
• Device/output: 5/8-24 RH external threads (common .30-cal devices: .308/7.62, 300 BLK, etc.)
Notes: Many AK front sight base threads were designed for OEM devices with detents and may have minimal or non-standard shoulders. Best results come from a true, square seating surface. On any AK-pattern host, always verify bore-to-thread concentricity before using a suppressor.

Materials and finish
Body: 17-4 H1150 stainless steel
Finish: Black nitride (QPQ) hardcoat

Usage notes
• Thread directions: both sides are right-hand (RH).
• Do not use a crush washer between the muzzle and adapter; the adapter should seat flat on the shoulder/FSB face.
• Time any brake/comp on the 5/8-24 device side using shims if needed.
• Avoid stacking multiple adapters.
• For suppressor use, confirm concentricity with an alignment rod before live fire.
• Follow all federal, state, and local laws and range rules.
